Buffalo Fantasy Draft 2010 Redo
Round 1
- Strusienski - Drafted: RB Chris Johnson (Grade A+)
Should have drafted RB Chris Johnson = some may have taken Peterson, but Johnson is the safer pick. He is less likely to get injured and gets more receiving pts.
- Pickreign - Drafted: RB Adrian Peterson (Grade A+)
Should have drafted RB Adrian Peterson = couldn't really mess this one up...take whoever was left! He obviously learned his lesson from last year. Take the Best Available player this high in the Draft!
- Zeitz - Drafted: RB Frank Gore Grade (Grade A)
Should have drafted RB Frank Gore = may have thought about McFadden for a second.... but Gore is more proven back and the safer pick!
- Randall - Drafted: RB Ryan Mathews (Grade C)
Should have drafted WR Calvin Johnson = If he wasn't loaded at RB already, would have chosen between Arian Foster or Darren McFadden. That's why I'm so against this pick! Everything on this guy said super over rated and Randall already had a stockpile of RB's on the roster! A lot of money for the 2nd best back on the Chargers! WR should have been the pick here!
- Pellegrino - Drafted: RB Steven Jackson (Grade A-)
Should have draft RB Darren McFadden = at the time, major reach! Now major steal! The guy always had the talent!
- Luksch (f/Stowe) - Drafted: RB Michael Turner (Grade A-)
Should have drafted RB Michael Turner = the lack of receptions are the only thing I don't like. Arian Foster has One Hit Wonder written all over him. And I'm not sold on Peyton Hillis. Plus, I already have a Top WR in Wayne. Gates is tempting and maybe should've been the choice here!
- Teichman - Drafted: QB Matt Schaub (Grade B+)
Should have drafted RB Arian Foster = Schaub is a safe good value pick. But it turns out; he could have gotten a really good QB in the 2nd or even 3rd Round. Foster would have given him a stud back for at least 1yr and a huge upgrade over anyone else he had at the time.
- Hannigan - Drafted: WR Brandon Marshall (Grade B)
Should have taken TE Antonio Gates = There was a TON of WR's in this year's draft. Maybe Peyton Hillis or Steven Jackson....but he tagged Mendenhall. Gates is having a Monster year and is well worth a 1st round selection.
- Johnson - Drafted: WR Calvin Johnson (Grade A)
Should have taken RB Peyton Hills = (1) Johnson is gone in this scenario. (2) Huge drop off after Hillis and Jackson and he can get his top WR in round 2. With that said very surprise Johnson lasted that long! Good pick Paul!
- Stowe (f/Luksch) - Drafted: WR Miles Austin (Grade B)
Should have taken RB Steven Jackson = Austin looked good at the beginning of the year, but not anymore. Jackson still has a few good years left, the only problem....can he stay healthy?
- Zeitz (f/Gigante) - Drafted: WR Larry Fitzgerald (Grade B-)
Should have taken WR Hakeem Nicks = Considering Zeitz got this guy in 4th round...not too bad! Just a solid player and is just going to get better! Fitzgerald on the other hand, he is doing the best he can w/ a poor QB situation.
- Gullo - Drafted: WR Greg Jennings (Grade B)
Should have taken TE Vernon Davis = not too many RB options left. WR's I would still wait until the 2nd. He needed a TE and Davis is the best one on the board. Maybe consider Matt Forte or Jahvid Best.
Round 2
- Strusienski - RB CJ Spiller "Only because the Homer is in rebuilding mode!"
- Pickreign - WR A. Boldin "1st WR I would go after in this Rd "
- Gigante (f/Zeitz) - TE J. Finley "1st rd talent for 2nd rd price (just hurt)"
- Randall - RB J.Best "here is your rookie RB and he is better than Mathews"
- Pelligrino - RB Matt Forte "Good value pick"
- Luksch (f/Stowe) - WR B. Marshall "Wanted TE, settled for next best WR"
- Teichman - QB K. Orton "Real nice Value"
- Hannigan - WR G. Jennings "Good Value w/ a great QB"
- Johnson - WR T.Owens "Had 1 really good yr left"
- Luksch - WR M.Austin "Too good to pass on"
- Gigante - WR B.Lloyd "Having a very nice year...but can he keep it going?"
- Gullo - WR L.Fitzgerald "Way too much talent...hope he gets a QB and fast!"
