SUPERBOWL VI 12.22.2009 | by: Luksch |
Superbowl VI will feature two high powering teams. Team Gigante was nearly upset in the AFC title game, but escaped with the win. Team Gullo is on fire upsetting both Team Luksch and Team Hannigan to get here. Both Teams are deep and talented and can mix and match their line-ups. But, ultimately it will come down to their primetime players!!! Will Team Gigante be the first franchise to win the Superbowl twice or will Team Gullo be the 6th different franchise to win the title!!

|
AFC Championship 12.16.2009 | by: Luksch |
|
Team Gigante has dominated the AFC this year; however their only loss in the conference came to Team Johnson back in week 1. Team Gigante is making their 2nd straight appearance in the AFC title game and their 3rd in 4 years, while Team Johnson is making their 3rd appearance in the AFC championship game in 6 years. Team Gigante also ended Team Johnson’s season last year in the wildcard game. Both teams know each other very well and this will be a much closer game then people think. Will Team Johnson be the first team to make the Superbowl with a losing record or will Team Gigante continue their dominance in the AFC?

Team Johnson

NFC Championship 12.16.2009 | by: Luksch |
Team Luksch has dominated the NFC this year, which includes a season sweep of Team Gullo. However, Team Gullo has the potential to put up some serious points at any given week. The edge has to go to Team Luksch based on playoff experience alone. Team Luksch is making their 4th consecutive NFC Championship appearance and trying to win their 3rd NFC crown. Team Gullo is coming off their first playoff win in franchise history! The deciding factor will be who plays and who doesn’t! Rumors are circulating that Peyton Manning might not play. This is bad in 2 ways. (1) Team Gullo would be losing their Team MVP and (2) they have no backup QB on the roster…ooops!!! For Team Luksch, Drew Brees will play; however Reggie Wayne might sit and that means the team would have to turn to Nate Burleson as their starting WR! Overall, this should be a great match-up…will Team Luksch continue their dominance and make it to their 3rd Superbowl or will Team Gullo continue their magical run?

NFC Wildcard Game: Team Hannigan vs Team Gullo 12.09.2009 | by: Luksch |

The teams split the season series with a win apiece. This is a very even match up and I can see the winner making a serious run in the playoffs!

Team Gullo

QB: Peyton Manning |
|
Team Hannigan

QB: Tom Brady |
|
AFC Wildcard Game: Team Teichman vs Team Johnson 12.09.2009 | by: Luksch |
|
Have to give the edge to Team Teichman. They swept the season series and the second game wasn’t even close, However, Team Teichman has been up and down all year! Team Johnson are no strangers to the playoffs and they got off to a hot start this year, however they haven’t played so well down the stretch!
Players to watch:
Team Teichman

WR: Randy Moss |

Team Johnson

RB: Frank Gore |
|
Player of the Week (13) 12.09.2009 | by: Luksch |
|
 QB: Tony Romo
| Romo was impressive last week scoring 33 points, however it wasn’t enough to save Team Pellegrino’s season. Romo threw for 392 and 3 TD’s!
|
Game of the Week: Team Teichman vs Team Johnson 12.03.2009 | by: Luksch |
Pretty simple....You win, you get in the playoffs, you lose, you better hope Team Pellegrino loses to Team Gigante!
Players to watch:
Team Teichman

WR: Randy Moss |
|
Team Johnson

TE: Dallas Clark |
|
Player of the Week (12) 12.01.2009 | by: Luksch |
|
 QB: Drew Brees
| Drew Brees showed why you shouldn’t overlook him to repeat as Buffalo Fanatsy MVP. Brees put up 44 points to help Team Luksch beat Team Gullo 175 to 117. Brees threw for 371 yards and 5 TD’s! Get you sour patch kids and Jack ready!!!
|
Game of the Week: Team Hannigan vs Team Stowe 11.25.2009 | by: Luksch |
Two of three teams fighting it out for the last two playoff spots in the NFC. A win puts Team Hannigan in the playoffs, a loss makes next week a must win against the powerhouse Team Luksch and will need help to make the playoffs!!! A win by Team Stowe would almost certainly put them in the playoffs; at the very least give them control of their own playoff faint as it pertains to next week’s game! A loss would mean, a must win next week and help to make the playoffs!! A BIG, HUGE, ENORMOUS, MASSIVE, GIGANTIC, GARGANTUAN, COLOSSAL game to say the least!!
Players to watch:
|
Team Hannigan
 QB: Tom Brady |
|
Team Stowe
 WR: Andre Johnson |

Division Champs are Crowned 11.25.2009 | by: Luksch |
Congratulations to Team Luksch for winning the NFC division and to Team Gigante for winning the AFC division. This is Team Gigante's 1st division championship and 4th straight year in the playoffs. This is Team Luksch's 3rd division championship and 6th straight year in the playoffs.
|
Player of the Week (11) 11.24.2009 | by: Luksch |
|
 WR: Terrell Owens
|
Sorry Dan, but this maybe the only chance this year to give the award to a BILLS’ player!!! So, I apologize to that pot smoking bitch, Ronnie Brown wanta be, Ricky Williams!! But, TO gets the award this week….yeah baby!!! TO caught 9 passes for 197 yards and 1 TD. The 29 points helped Team Johnson defeat Team Pellegrino 125 to 69.

ProBowl 2009 11.24.2009 | by: Gullo |
We are doing it again!
For our 2nd year, we will be holding the AFC/NFC ProBowl during Week 16. We will get together once again (location TBD), and see which conference can select the best roster!
To help us get started in the process, I have updated the ProBowl Management section of the site. You can find this area on the Manage Roster page. Give it a look and start to plan out your moves. Remember that each owner must have at least one player in the lineup!
Last year the AFC beat out the NFC in the first annual ProBowl. With that loss, the NFC provided free beer and pizza during the draft. Will it happen again?

Fantasy Fun Fact: Week 11 11.24.2009 | by: Mark |
Looking at the scores this week and realized that a lot of points were put up, especially in the NFC. So I looked up the most points put up by a conference in a single week and sure enough this week was #2 with that criteria. Below is the top 5 (notice all by NFC). After that is most points put up by all 12 teams in a single week.

Game of the Week: Team Pellegrino vs Team Johnson 11.17.2009 | by: Luksch |
|
Two of three teams fighting it out for the last two playoff spots in the AFC. Team Pellegrino won the first meeting back in week 5. A second win would give Team Pellegrino a two game lead and the head to head tie breaker over Team Johnson. However, a Team Johnson win would make things very interesting. First, the head to head would be a wash and Johnson would own the division record tiebreaker, which will come in big in a 3-way tie scenario. Either way….huge game in the AFC!
Players to watch:
Team Pellegrino
QB: Tony Romo
|
|
Team Johnson
TE: Dallas Clark |
|
Player of the Week (10) 11.17.2009 | by: Luksch |

RB: Chris Johnson
|
Ooops….he did it again!!! Chris Johnson put up 39 points to help Team Luksch beat Team Randall 150 to 95. Johnson ran for 132 yards and 2 TD’s while adding 9 catches for 100 yards. The win help Team Luksch clinch a playoff spot for the sixth straight year!!!

The Drew Brees Press Conference 11.12.2009 | by: Luksch |
|
Steve Luksch: It is a honor to welcome the 2008 Buffalo Fantasy MVP Drew Brees to the TEAM LUKSCH organization!
Drew walks up to the podium with a chant of DREW BREES, DREW BREES, DREW BREES in the background.
Drew Brees: I first would like to thank the Greatest Owner in Buffalofantasy history Mr. Luksch for trading for me! It is a honor to play for such a prestigious organization with 2 NFC championships and 2 division titles. I'm very excited for the opportunity to play with great players like Adrian Peterson, Ronnie Brown, Chris Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Vernon Davis and Antonio Gates. I know i was brought here for 1 reason and one reason only...Bring a Superbowl to this great team....(then Drew Brees steps to the side of the podium and while posing like Usian Bolt) I guarantee i will bring one here!!!
The room goes crazy.....jack and coke is flying around the room, sour patch kids falling from the ceiling...what a scene!!! A great moment in buffalo fantasy football history!!

TRADE ANNOUNCMENT 11.12.2009 | by: Gullo |
Not the largest of trades, but Team Gullo will be sending WR Jerricho Cotchery and K Neil Rackers to Team Pickreign in return for LB Ray Lewis.
|
TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT 11.11.2009 | by: Luksch |
Team Pellegrino has TRADED QB Drew Brees to Team Luksch for QB Tomo Romo, QB Matt Hasselbeck, RB James Davis and TE Ben Watson!!! YES....Nick has just sold his soul to the DEVIL!!!
|
Game of the Week: Team Gullo vs Team Stowe 11.10.2009 | by: Luksch |
Two teams as of now fighting it out for the final playoff spot in the NFC. Team Gullo won the previous meeting back in week 5 with a 122 to 102 victory. Another win by Team Gullo would most certainly give them an advantage over Team Stowe in regards to tiebreakers. Therefore, this is a must win for Team Stowe. A loss could eliminate any possibility of catching Team Gullo in the playoff hunt. A loss for Team Gullo would make 2nd –5th place in the NFC up for grabs !!
Players to watch:
|
Team Gullo
 QB: Peyton Manning |
|
Team Stowe
 RB: Matt Forte |
|
Player of the Week (9) 11.10.2009 | by: Luksch |
|
 QB: Kurt Warner
|
Well...Kurt Warner sure bounced back after a horrible week 8. Warner threw for 231 yards and 5 TD’s this week. Unfortuately the 40 points could not help Team Teichman get the victory over Team Gigante.
|
TRADE DEADLINE 11.09.2009 | by: Luksch |
Reminder....The Trade Deadline is this Thursday at 8:20.....The start of week 10!!!
|
Trade Announcement 11.09.2009 | by: Mark |
Team Pellegrino gets Derrick Ward and Mark Clayton and Team Johnson gets Zach Miller and Johnny Knox.
|
Game of the Week: Team Gigante vs Team Teichman 11.06.2009 | by: Luksch |
Two of the top Teams in the AFC will go head to head this week in buffalo fantasy. Team Gigante will try to widen his lead in the division with a 2nd win over Team Teichman this week. A lost by Team Teichman will most certainly eliminate their chances at a division title! A win would make it anyone's division coming down the stretch!
Players to watch:
|
Team Gigante
 QB: Phillip Rivers |
|
Team Teichman
 WR: Randy Moss |
|
TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT 11.06.2009 | by: Luksch |
Team Pickreign has traded QB M.Schaub and DB A.Wilson to Team Luksch for RB Steve Slaton and WR M.Austin!
|
TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT 11.04.2009 | by: Gullo |
Team Pickreign and Team Gullo have reached an agreement for a trade. Gullo will be sending WR Devin Hester to Pickreign in return for WR Hines Ward.
|
Player of the Week (8) 11.03.2009 | by: Luksch |
 RB: Chris Johnson |
Let’s just say Adrian Peterson may not be the best overall RB in Buffalo Fantasy. Chris Johnson put up a whopping 36 points to help Team Luksch beat Team Strusienski 133 to 93. Johnson ran for 228 yards and 2 TD’s while adding 2 catches for 11 yards. Chris Johnson is making a name for himself this year not only as the best RB....but also as the MVP in Buffalo Fantasy!!!
|
This Week In History (Week 8) 11.03.2009 | by: Gullo |
RB: Terrell Davis | Going back 11 years to 1998, if you were a fantasy owner of Terrell Davis, you'd be a happy guy! In week 8 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, TD was the fantasy stud. Not only did Davis rush for 136 yards on 31 attempts with 3 touchdowns, he also caught 5 passes for an additional 76 yards! With those stats, Terrell would have put up 40 H2H points!
Davis would finish the '98 regular season with some monster stats. On 392 carries, TD rushed for 2,008 yards and averaged 5.1 yards per carry! With 23 touchdowns and only 2 fumbles, Davis would have finished the regular season averaging 25.25 H2H points a game! With stats like that, Davis would be 6th overall in average points in the regular season, and be 2nd among running backs, only behind LaDainian Tomlinson.

For you people that are stuck in 2001...We've just updated some of our code to work properly with the worst web browser ever, IE6. You should see some cosmetic improvements to the site, along with the links in the header now working properly. If you see any other issues, please give me a shout in the rumor mill.

BONUS: Game of the Week: Team Luksch vs Team Strusienski 10.28.2009 | by: Luksch |
Well rookie here is your shot! Because there wasn't a "game of the week" last week, I added a Bonus "game of the week " this week! It's simple, you are 2-0 against the big and bad NFC....However, you haven't beaten the best of the best yet! You beat me.....you get respect!!! If not, you are just another chump.....who is a NFC wanna be!!!

Game of the Week: Team Teichman vs Team Stowe 10.28.2009 | by: Luksch |
Both teams are right in the middle of the playoff hunt. Team Teichman is coming off a bad loss, but still looks good for the playoffs. However, a loss this week can drop them to 5th place in the AFC and put them on the outside looking in! Team Stowe needs a win badly! A win can move them all the way to 2nd place in the NFC!!! However, a loss can drop them to last!!! A big game for both team!!
Players to watch:
|
Team Teichman
 WR: Steve Smith |
|
Team Stowe
 QB: Joe Flacco |
|
Player of the Week (7) 10.28.2009 | by: Luksch |
QB: Carson Palmer | He's BAAAAACK!! Carson Palmer of Team Zeitz light up Team Teichman with a 39 point performance! Palmer threw for 233 yards and 5 TD's. If Palmer keeps this up, Team Zeitz may make another late run at the playoff!
|
Player of the Week (6) 10.28.2009 | by: Luksch |
QB: Tom Brady | He's BAAAAACK!! Tom Brady helped Team Hannigan beat Team Pickreign 141 to 109 in week 6. Brady broke a Buffalo Fantasy record with a 51 point performance. Brady threw for 380 yards and 6 TD's! It seems Brady may have recovered from that knee!
|
This Week In History (Week 7) 10.27.2009 | by: Gullo |
This past week, Miles Austin put up an impressive 32 points to help Dallas beat Atlanta. But how good was 32 points for a WR?
If you go back 16 years to Week 7 of the 1992 season, a young Jerry Rice would have beat Austin in points with a 56-17 win, oddly enough, over Atlanta.
Rice caught 7 passes for 183 yards and 2 TDs. In addition, he rushed for 26 yards and 1 TD. Had he put up those stats this week, he would have earned a whopping 41 points. The 41 points would put Rice 4th overall for most points scored by a WR in a single game. Rice finished the 1992 season with an average of 14.2 points per week, not one of his best seasons in terms of stats.

Fantasy Fun Fact: Week 6 10.21.2009 | by: Mark |
The Fun Fact this week revolves around the ‘Game of the Week’ preview that Steve puts out weekly. What stands out this week is that he absolutely nailed the ‘Players to Watch’. The selections this week, Tom Brady for Team Hannigan and DeAngelo Williams for Team Pickreign, put up a ridiculous 81 points between them. This was the largest point total for players in this preview segment. Here are the top 5:

Game of the Week: Team Pickreign vs Team Hannigan 10.15.2009 | by: Luksch |
Both teams are right in the middle of the playoff hunt. Team Hannigan is coming off a blow out win over Team Zeitz and Team Pickreign is coming off a big division win against Team Teichman. Both divisions are tight and a win in a game like this can help you make that playoff push. I have a feeling this is going to be a close high scoring game!

Fantasy Fun Fact: Week 5 10.13.2009 | by: Mark |
Fact: This week marked the first time in BF history that two opponents started two TEs against each other. Team Gullo and Team Stowe each played two TEs in their NFC matchup. Chad Stowe got more production out of his TE pairing, but Mike Gullo got the overall victory.
The idea of starting two TEs in a game is not entirely new. There have been 22 instances of this, with the first being Chad Stowe in Week 6 of 2004. Most recently Matt Strusienski has been using Jason Witten and Owen Daniels on a weekly basis in 2009. Previous to this year Mike Pickreign has done this 5 times, with Steve Luksch and Dylan Randall playing it 3 times each. The aforementioned Randall has experienced both the highest and lowest point totals from this strategy. The lowest being a combined 4 points in last year's 3rd place game and the highest being a combined 32 points in Week 12 of 2007. That week Chris Cooley put up 18 points and Owen Daniels posted 14 points.
If you have any ideas for the fun fact of the week, or would like me to dig up some numbers feel free to message me in the rumor mill.

BF Chat 10.12.2009 | by: Gullo |
We finally have a chat application on Buffalo Fantasy! I've been trying for some time to get a chat page up and running and I was finally successful today. The chat will allow multiple BF members to talk in real time, at anytime. Hopefully you guys will find the page useful in trade talks, trash talk, or just screwing around. In order to use Chat, you must be logged in(it will automatically recognize you). The page supports private messaging for anything you want to keep quite. The Chat isn't meant to replace the Rumor Mill (there are no alerts), but hopefully it will make Sunday afternoons a little more fun.
You can find the Chat link on the upper right of this page. Hit me up if you have any questions.

Fantasy Fun Fact: Week 4 10.06.2009 | by: Mark |
I know you guys have asked for something like this, so I will try to pull a 'fun fact' every week from here out.
Jared Allen's performance (34 points) for Team Gigante this week was the single highest fantasy point day for a Defensive Lineman in Buffalo Fantasy H2H history. He managed to break his own record of 32 points for when he was a member of Team Pellegrino. Here are the top 5 DL performances in BF history:

DL: Jared Allen | You could say Jared Allen went off in week 4! He had 34 points to help Team Gigante earn a big win! The big game helped Allen go down in BF H2H history as the highest point total in a single game for a defensive lineman. Jared Allen had 6 tackles, 4.5 sacks and a safey. It’s safe to say Jared Allen is the current favorite to win the 2009 Bruce Smith Award!

Game of the Week: Team Hannigan vs Team Luksch 10.03.2009 | by: Luksch |
Both teams are off to great starts in the tough NFC. Team Luksch is looking to go 4-0 and start separating themselves from the rest of the pack. With a win, Team Hannigan can take over first place and prove they are contenders in the division
Players to watch:
Team Hannigan
 QB: Tom Brady |
|
Team Luksch
 RB: Adrian Peterson |
|
Player of the Week (3) 09.29.2009 | by: Luksch |
Team Gullo - QB: Peyton Manning
Manning tore it up in week 3. He had 36 points to help Team Gullo earn their first win of the season. Manning threw for 379 yards and 4 TD’s while only having 1 INT. For Team Gullo to have a shot at the playoffs Manning must continue to play at a high level.
|
Game of the Week: Team Zeitz vs Team Gullo 09.24.2009 | by: Luksch |
Both teams are 0-2 and in the tough NFC an 0-3 start will most likely end your season. This is a must win for both teams with the winner making back in the mix and the loser falling out of the playoff hunt quickly!
Players to watch: Team Gullo - QB: P.Manning Team Zeitz -WR: Larry Fitzgerald
|
Player of the Week (2) 09.22.2009 | by: Luksch |
Team Luksch - RB: Chris Johnson
Johnson showed the non-believers (Paul) that there will be no sophomore slump this year. Johnson put up an amazing 49 points for Team Luksch. Johnson ran for 197 yards and 2 TD’s while catching 9 passes for 87 yards and 1 TD. With Johnson’s speed, vision, and his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, some will argue he might be the most complete back in football.
|
Game of the Week: Team Johnson vs Team Pickreign 09.15.2009 | by: Luksch |
Week 1 saw blowouts, upsets, and a game decided by one point. Hopefully week 2 will have the same excitement. Team Johnson and Team Pickreign beat the top 2 teams from the AFC in week one. In week 2 we will see which team is for real!
Players to watch: Team Johnson - QB: Matt Ryan Team Pickreign - RB: DeAngelo Williams
|
Player of the Week (1) 09.15.2009 | by: Luksch |
Team Pellegrino - QB: Drew Brees
Brees showed why he was the Buffalo Fantasy MVP last year. Brees put up 47 points in week 1. However, that wasn’t enough to help Team Pellegrino earn the win. Brees threw for 358 yards with 6 TD’s and 1 INT. It is safe to say Drew Brees could be named "Player of the Week" again this year!

Pellegrino Wins Superbowl 12.23.2008 | by: Luksch |
Team Pellegrino completes one of the most impressive seasons ever with a 142 – 111 victory over team Luksch to win Superbowl V. Superbowl MVP Drew Brees put up 26 pts as he threw for 351 yards and 2 TD’s. Westbrook, Ware, Bryant, Marshall, Turner and Witten all were in double digits. Team Luksch was lead by 18 pts from TE Antonio Gates. Pellegrino was the fifth different Superbowl winner in Buffalo Fantasy History.
|
SUPERBOWL V: Team Luksch vs Team Pellegrino 12.16.2008 | by: Luksch |
Superbowl V will crown another first time Champion when Team Luksch goes Head to Head with Team Pellegrino. The two highest scoring teams could put up one of the highest scoring Superbowls ever! Team Pellegrino is the heavy favorite and was predicted by many to win the Superbowl before the season even started. Team Luksch at times looks unstoppable and other times they will look like shit. The game will be filled with high power RB’s that included Peterson, Turner, Westbrook, Lynch, Slaton, Grant, and Johnson. The key will be TE and WR. Both teams have had inconsistent play at both positions. DEF will be interesting as well. Both teams have players who can put up 20pts in a heart beat and that also could be the difference in a game. Either way this should be a fun one. Will Team Luksch finally get the monkey off their back or will Team Pellegrino finish off one of the most dominating season ever with a Superbowl Victory?
Players to watch: Team Luksch - RB: Adrian Peterson Team Pellegrino - QB: Drew Brees

NFC Championship: Team Luksch vs Team Randall 12.09.2008 | by: Luksch |
Team Randall is been an unstoppable machine winning 8 straight. Team Randall last played in the NFC title game back in 2004. Team Luksch is making their third straight appearance in the NFC title game. These teams split the season series and this game will determine the most dominant NFC franchise. The big question is who gets the starts at QB. Both teams have 2 quality QB’s and those players will most likely determine the game!
Players to watch: Team Randall - RB: Joseph Addai Team Luksch - RB: Adrian Peterson
|
AFC Championship: Team Gigante vs Team Pellegrino 12.09.2008 | by: Luskch |
Team Gigante is going for their 2nd AFC title in the past three years, while team Pellegrino will be trying to win their first. The teams split the season series, so this is really anyone’s game. Both teams have great quarterbacks and a number of running backs that can light up the scoreboard. This game may come down to what Pellegrino Team shows up. Team Gigante is a given to score 120, so Team Pellegrino better be up for the challenge
Players to watch: Team Gigante - RB: Reggie Bush Team Pellegrino - QB: Drew Brees

ProBowl Section 12.03.2008 | by: Gullo |
I created a seperate section of the site for the ProBowl. You can find the link on the left side. Each memeber of your conference can view the current roster, set the lineup, and post private messages to your conference. You can only view these pages for your own conference. This roster will act like your normal roster (it will freeze when Eric decideds so). Let me know if it needs anything else.

Superbowl / ProBowl 12.03.2008 | by: Gullo |
On Sunday Dec. 21, we are going to get together (probably Mark's) for the final week of H2H. We can watch the final two teams battle it out in the Superbowl and also pick our Pro Bowl teams.
We have been discussing rules for the Probowl, and this is what we have decided: 1) You will fill out the normal 11 person roster with players from your conference.
2) The conference team must contain 1 player from each of the 6 teams in that conference.
3) All the games will count (Thursday, Sunday, Monday).
4) If there is a tie in points, the tie breaker will be determined by the QB with the most points.
5) If the conference can not decide on which players to start, the conference winner will have the final say.
6) The losing conference will supply the food and beer for the draft in August.
If you have any questions, let me know. If you don't plan on attending please mention that in the rumor mill.

AFC Wildcard Game: Team Johnson vs Team Gigante 12.02.2008 | by: Luksch |
Very interesting rematch from week 13 were team Johnson was able to pull off the victory to earn the last playoff spot. However, the two teams split the season series with a win apiece. Team Gigante has very quietly won 4 of his last 5 and has become a very dangerous team down the stretch. Team Johnson will need another big week from key players to keep this winning stretch going.
Players to watch: Team Johnson - QB: Jay Cutler Team Gigante - QB: Peyton Manning
|
NFC Wildcard Game: Team Luksch vs Team Zeitz 12.02.2008 | by: Luksch |
Team Zeitz won 3 of their last 4 to earn the final playoff spot in the NFC, while Team Luksch is coming off their first win in a month. Team Luksch swept the season series 2-0 and on paper this game looks like a sure win for Team Luksch, but as history has shown us Team Luksch has struggled in the playoffs and Team Zeitz always plays well in the post season. So don’t be surprise if this turns out to be a close game.
Players to watch: Team Luksch - QB: Kurt Warner Team Zeitz - WR: Larry Fitzgerald
|
Game of the Week : Team Zeitz vs Team Randall 11.18.2008 | by: Luksch |
With the playoffs just 2 away weeks and everyone having a shot at the playoffs every game is a big game. Team Randall can clinch his second division title in franchise history with a win. Team Zeitz can inch closer to the playoffs with a win of his own. These next two weeks should be fun and exciting!!!
Players to watch: Team Zeitz - WR: Larry Fitzgerald Team Randall - RB: Joseph Addai
|
Player of the Week (11) 11.18.2008 | by: Luksch |
Team Randall - RB: Joseph Addai
Addai (who was just one of many of Team Randall players to have a career day this weekend) put up 28 pts to help team Randall beat Team Luksch 143 to 95. Addai ran for 105 yards and a TD while also catches 4 passes for 48 yards and a TD.

Game of the Week : Team Luksch vs Team Randall 11.11.2008 | by: Luksch |
The top two teams in the NFC will square off this week. The winner of this game will have the inside track to the division and a first round bye. With a win, Team Randall would have a 2 game lead in the division with two games to go and only the points tie breaker to worry about. A win for Team Luksch would put them back in a tie for first and they would own all tie breakers. Team Luksch won the first meeting way back in week 1 with a 112 to 85 victory. Both teams have been putting up some serious points as of late. This should be one of the highest scoring games of the year!!
Players to watch: Team Luksch - QB: Kurt Warner Team Randall - RB: Thomas Jones
|
Player of the Week (10) 11.11.2008 | by: Luksch |
Team P.Johnson - QB: Jay Cutler
Cutler showed off his skills this past weekend by putting up 34 pts. Cutler’s performance helped Team P.Johnson defeat Team Teichman 152 to 85. Cutler threw for 447 yards and 3 TD’s with 1 INT. Cutler also rushed for 29 yards.

Game of the Week : Team Gigante vs Team Pellegrino 11.04.2008 | by: Luksch |
Well….technically we do have the 2 top teams in the AFC playing each other!!! This might be the only team left on Pellegrino’s schedule that could give him a regular season loss….but don’t bet on it!!!
Players to watch: Team Gigante - QB: Peyton Manning Team Pelligrino - RB: Brian Westbrook
|
Player of the Week (9) 11.04.2008 | by: Luksch |
Team Luksch - QB: Kurt Warner
Warner was very impressive this past weekend. Warner’s 25 pts helped Team Luksch defeat Team Zeitz 136 to 84. Warner threw for 324 yards and 2 TD’s. Warner has looked really good these past couple of weeks and might challenge Tony Romo for the starting QB spot.
|
Player of the Week (8) 10.29.2008 | by: Luksch |
Team Pellegrino - RB: Brian Westbrook
Westbrook made a nice little comeback Sunday when he put up 35 pts to help Team Pellegrino defeat Team Stowe 130 to 86. Westbrook rushed for 167 yards and 2 TD’s. He also had 6 catches fro 42 yards.
|
Game of the Week: Team Randall vs Team Hannigan 10.29.2008 | by: Luksch |
Both teams looking to solidify themselves as playoffs contenders with a win this week. Team Randall won the first meeting in convincing fashion. Team Hannigan is dealing with many injuries and Team Randall is out of roster moves. This is a big game for both teams with the winner inching closer to the playoffs
Players to watch: Team Hannigan - RB: Steven Jackson Team Randall - WR: Anquan Boldin

Game of the Week : Team Luksch vs Team P. Johnson 10.23.2008 | by: Luksch |
Well….time to put up or shut up……both Teams with key guys hurt and on bye weeks. This is like Brian Cox playing against Chad Johnson!!! Two big mouths who love to talk and can back it up on most weeks.
Players to watch: Team Luksch - RB: Steve Slaton Team P. Johnson - WR: Reggie Wayne
|
Player of the Week (7) 10.23.2008 | by: Luksch |

|
Game of the Week: Team Stowe vs Team Pickreign 10.15.2008 | by: Luksch |
This is a huge game for both teams. Team Stowe has won 2 in a row and has climbed to 3-3, but still finds themselves 5th place in the very tight NFC. Whereas, Team Pickreign has been up and down this year and finds themselves 5th in the AFC and slowing falling out of the race! Both teams need a win to stay in the playoff hunt!
Players to watch: Team Stowe - WR: Andre Johnson Team Pickreign – WR: Roy Williams
|
Player of the Week (6) 10.15.2008 | by: Luksch |
Team Pellegrino - QB: Drew Brees
Brees abused Team Gullo on Sunday. Brees put on 30 pts to help Team Pellegrino defeat Team Gullo 129 to 74. Brees threw for 320 yards and 3 TD’s.

Game of the Week: Team Pellegrino vs Team Gullo 10.08.2008 | by: Luksch |
This maybe the biggest ASS whipping ever and I’m going to love every minute of it!!! Arguably the best team ever versus the rebuilding Gullo squad!!! I want to see Gullo’s team get absolutely demolished!! Good luck Gullo!!!
Players to watch: Team Pellegrino - QB: Drew Brees Team Gullo – QB: Donovan McNabb
|

Players to watch: Team Pellegrino - QB: Drew Brees Team Teichman – QB: Philip Rivers
|
Game of the Week: Team P.Johnson vs Team Teichman 09.23.2008 | by: Luksch |
A rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game and a big game for both teams. Team Johnson has gotten out to a very slow start and has already lost more games this year then all of last year. As for Team Teichman they are out to a quick 3-0 start and or the only team giving Team Pellegrino a challenge in the MUCH weaker AFC!!!
Players to watch: Team P.Johnson - QB: Jay Cutler Team Teichman – QB: Philip Rivers
|

|
Game of the Week: Team Randall vs Team Gullo 09.18.2008 | by: Luksch |
Both Teams are 1-1 in the very competitive NFC. A 1-2 record is not the way either team wants to start the season. Both teams have high-powered offenses with key rookies making big contributions. This should be a fun one!!!
Players to watch: Team Gullo - QB: Donovan McNabb Team Randall - RB: Joseph Addai
|

The top two teams from week 1 will go at it in week 2 and try to earn some early bragging rights. The preseason Superbowl favorite Team Pellegrino flexed his muscles last week beating up on last year’s AFC champ Team Johnson. Team Pickreign was also impressive gaining some revenge from last year’s season finale lost to Team Gigante with a 118 to 92 victory. Both teams should put up some major points this week!!

For those of you that haven't noticed, we have made an upgrade to the rumor mill section of the site. H2H memebers now have the ability to receive new rumor postings via text message to their phone or by email! Hopefully this will make it quicker and easier to pull trades off and have questions answered. Additionally, news postings on the main H2H section can be emailed out. Both of these functions can be turned on/off on an individual basis. You can set this up by going to the Edit Profile section of the site. Just remember you can't respond back on your phone. To do that, you need to come to the site. Enjoy!

HANNIGAN SUPERBOWL CHAMPION 12.26.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Hannigan won a tight 126 to 124 victory over Team Johnson to win SUPERBOWL IV. Unlikely hero and Superbowl MVP Kenny Watson lead the way with a 19pt performance!!! This was Hannigan's first SUPERBOWL victory!!! Congrats to Team Hannigan!!!
|
SUPERBOWL IV 12.18.2007 | by: Luksch |
Well GO FIGURE the 2 people who bitched the most during the draft…end up in the SUPERBOWL!!! The first time ever….the NFC is the under dog. Who would have thought Team Hannigan could put up 114 and only 2 of those points coming from Buffalo Fantasy MVP Tom Brady. Team Johnson avoided one of the biggest upset EVER with a come from behind win last week!! This should be a great Superbowl with Team Hannigan getting great efforts from unlikely heros like Ernest Graham and Patrick Kerney. As Team Johnson will ride his High Power attack one more time!!! However, don’t be mislead by each team’s record!!! Team Hannigan deserves some respect being one of the highest scoring teams of late and Team Johnson ran through a much weaker AFC and is battling injuries from key players like TE Antonio Gates. SUPERBOWL IV will be exciting to follow. LET THE BEST TEAM!!!
Players to watch: Team Johnson - WR: Reggie Wayne Team Hannigan - QB: Tom Brady

AFC Championship Team Teichman vs Team Johnson 12.12.2007 | by: Luksch |
With Team Gigante going down last week, it ensured a new first time SUPERBOWL winner for 2007. Team Johnson would seem to have all the pressure after posting a 12-1 record. Many people believe anything less then the SUPERBOWL would be considered a CHOKE JOB!!! However, Team Teichman was in this position last year and would love to redeem himself. Team Johnson swept the season series, however I believe Team Teichamn can pull one out. Should be fun to watch!
Players to watch: Team Teichman - WR: Terrell Owens Team Johnson - WR: TJ Houshmandzadeh
|
NFC Championship Team Luksch vs Team Hannigan 12.12.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Luksch will try to slow down the hottest team in the league and try to make it to the Superbowl for the second straight year. Team Hannigan is coming off a huge win last week in the Wild card game. He will need a similar performance if he plans to knock off Team Luksch. The teams split the season series one game apiece. NFL match-ups will play a big role in this game. Look for a high scoring game as both teams have pretty favorable match-ups!!!
Players to watch: Team Hannigan - QB: Tom Brady Team Luksch - RB: Adrian Peterson

Team Hannigan is making their first playoff appearance ever and Team Randall is making their first appearance since winning SUPERBOWL I. The teams split the season series one game apiece. NFL match-ups will play a big role in this game. Look for a low scoring game as both teams don’t have the most favorable match-ups!!!

|
AFC WILD CARD PREVIEW: Team Teichman vs Team Gigante 12.04.2007 | by: Luksch |
A rematch of last year’s AFC Title Game!!! Both teams split the season series. Team Gigante is coming off an unbelievable win last week against Team Pickreign. Where as, Team Teichman must rebound from a 1pt loss to division winner Team Johnson. These two teams have a little bit of a rivalry going and this will just add to it!!!
Players to watch: Team Teichman - WR: Terrell Owens Team Gigante - QB: Peyton Manning

Team Gigante - QB: Peyton Manning
First, I need to apologize to Frank Gore and his Owner Paul Johnson for not rewarding him game of the week last week!! I owe you a drink!!! However, on to this week….WOW…Peyton Manning not only did he put up the most points this week….but he also was the deciding TIE BREAKER in the “win or go home” season finally between Team Gigante and Team Pickreign. Manning had 33 pts to help Team Gigante not only win the game, but also clinch the last and final playoff spot in the AFC. Manning threw for 288 yards and 4 TD’s with 1 INT!!!

Game of the Week : Team Gigante vs Team Pickreign 11.27.2007 | by: Luksch |
Well….you couldn’t ask for a more exciting final week!!! Again, I could have picked any game in the NFC. But, you can’t argue that Pickreign vs Gigante is basically a playoff game. Winner moves on and the loser gets ready for March Madness!!! Gigante won the first match up back in week 3 with a 108 to 104 score. In this game look for player match ups to be HUGE!!! Team Pickreign has 3 keys players going up against a very weak Bengals team. Where as, Team Gigante has many of his key players either hurt or going against tough defenses!!! In a close match up like this, it’s usually the defensive players that make the difference!!!
Players to watch: Team Gigante - DL: Jared Allen Team Pickreign - LB: DeMeco Ryans
|
Player of the Week (12) 11.27.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Gullo - WR: Chad Johnson
Chad Johnson finally broke out in week 12. Johnson caught 12 passes for 103 yards and 3 TD's. However, Johnson’s 34 pts wasn’t enough for Team Gullo to defeat Team Hannigan. (In a fair world Gullo should have won. What defensive lineman puts up 30 points?!) Johnson has been disappointing so far this year, but he has the ability to put up monster numbers in any given week!!!
|
Game of the Week : Team Gigante vs Team Teichman 11.20.2007 | by: Luksch |
Again, I could have picked any game in the NFC. But, the AFC has the biggest game this week. With only 2 playoff spots remaining and 3 teams left in the mix, I can’t tell you how much this game means to both teams. Team Teichman needs this game more considering he’s losing virtually every tie breaking. He is 0-2 against Pickreign and 0-1 against Gigante. He is also behind in the division record. The only thing he has going for him is that Pickreign and Gigante play each other next week. Therefore, he controls his own destiny and two wins to close out the season will get him in the playoffs (Or a win this week and a Pick loss this week). For, Gigante a loss won’t hurt as much, but it would be his third in a row and could mean he'd have to win next week to get in! Should be FUN!!
Players to watch: Team Gigante - QB: Peyton Manning Team Teichman - WR: Terrell Owens
|
Player of the Week (11) 11.20.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Teichman - WR: Terrell Owens
In a week that had some awesome performances, Terrell Owens tops all with a 45 pt effort. Owens caught 8 passes for 173 yards and 4 TD's. Owens' 45 pts helped team Teichman defeat division rival Team Pellegrino 146 to 111. Owens has been overlooked by Randy Moss this season. However, he showed this week he's someone that can hurt you just as bad!

Game of the Week : Team Randall vs Team Zeitz 11.13.2007 | by: Luksch |
I could have picked any game in the NFC. But, this game will most likely eliminate someone from the playoff picture. Two teams going in opposite directions. Team Zeitz….YES…Team Zeitz has the longest winning streak going and he might have to win out to have a shot at the playoffs. As for Team Randall, they’re on a 2 game losing streak and falling fast in the standings. The winner could hold a tie for the final playoff spot, however the loser will mostly be done.
Players to watch: Team Zeitz- WR: Larry Fitzgerald Team Randall - RB: Joseph Addai
|
Player of the Week (10) 11.13.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Pellegrino - RB: Brian Westbrook
One of the most underrated RB's in League. Brian Westbrook put up 38 pts to help Team Pellegrino defeat Team Gigante 136-97. Westbrook ran for 100 yards and 1 TD. He also caught 5 passes for 83 yards and 2 TD's. When healthy, Westbrook is one of the most dangerous RB's you will find.

Game of the Week: Team Pickreign vs Team Johnson 11.06.2007 | by: Luksch |
Well…. This is it for Team Pickreign. After stealing a win from Team Teichman last week, he will have to find a way to win again to keep his division championship hopes alive. A win for Team Johnson would eliminate any chance of Team Pickreign winning the division.
Players to watch: Team Pickreign- RB: Willie Parker Team Johnson - WR: TJ Houshmandzadeh
|
Player of the Week (9) 11.06.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Luksch - RB: Adrian Peterson
The Rookie did it again. Peterson ran for 296 yards and 3 TD's. He also caught 1 pass for 19 yards and lost a fumble. Peterson’s 45 pts helped team Luksch defeat division rival Team Gullo 141 to 79. For a rookie, Peterson is putting together an unbelievable season and could push Brady for MVP!

Game of the Week: Team Teichman vs Team Pickreign 10.30.2007 | by: Luksch |
Now that interleague games are over and the NFC dominated as usual, we go back to division play. One of the more important matches includes a pair of AFC teams battling it out for a pair of playoff spots. Team Teichman has made a number of trades hoping that will help them down the stretch. As for Team Pickreign, they will try to make it three in a row and a season sweep of Team Teichman.
Players to watch: Team Teichman - RB: Reggie Bush Team Pickreign - RB: Willie Parker

Player of the Week (8) 10.30.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Hannigan - QB: Tom Brady
I HATE HIM
|
Game of the Week: Team P.Johnson vs Team Gullo 10.23.2007 | by: Luksch |
After a wild week of interleague play that saw some top teams avoid major upsets, the final week of interleague play has a possible Superbowl IV preview. Both Team Johnson and Team Gullo are coming off big wins and both teams are making a strong case for the best team in the league. Team Johnson continues to be the team to beat in the AFC, while team Gullo is inching closer to their first playoff appearance.
Players to watch: Team Gullo - QB: Donovan McNabb Team Johsnon - WR: Reggie Wayne
|
Player of the Week (7) 10.23.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Hannigan - QB: Tom Brady
Brady had a pretty good week…all he did was put up the most points ever in Buffalo Fantasy with an eye popping 50 points! Brady passed for 354 yards and 6 TDs. This performance helped Team Hannigan defeat Team Pellegrino 173 to 138. Brady is far and way the MVP through the first half of the season!!!

Set Lineup Page 10.18.2007 | by: Gullo |
Guys, I've made another update to the site..I think this one is pretty useful...
On the Set Lineup page next to your players name, it will now display the game he is in (away team at home team). It will also display if your player is on Bye Week. Hopefully this will save you some time from checking the schedule out on a seperate site. The games should update automatically each week at midnight on Sundays.
If you get any errors with this, please let me know.

Player of the Week (6) 10.18.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Luksch - RB: Adrian Peterson
Peterson put up a whopping 46 pts for Team Luksch in week 6. Peterson ran for 224 yards and 3 TD’s while also returning 4 kicks for 128 yards. This performance helped Team Luksch defeat Team Pellegrino 183 to 100. I have a feeling this will be a first of many “player of the week” awards for Mr. Adrian Peterson.

Game of the Week: Team Gullo vs Team Gigante 10.09.2007 | by: Luksch |
Well…. inter-league play with start off with a BANG!!! One of the key match-ups puts the 2nd place team in the AFC against the 2nd place team in the NFC. Both teams are coming off big wins; however both teams trail in the standings by 1 game. A win could put their team in first place, but a loss could drop them in the standings and further behind the division leader!!!
Players to watch: Team Gullo - RB: Ronnie Brown Team Gigante - TE: Kellen Winslow II
|
Player of the Week (5) 10.09.2007 | by: Luksch |
Team Hannigan - QB: Tom Brady
Brady threw for 265 yards and 3 TD's. However, Brady’s 28 point performance wasn’t enough to defeat Team Stowe. Brady has been quietly putting together a solid season and he has single handedly kept his team in every game!

Team Gigante defeated Team Luksch 125 to 105 to win his first Superbowl. Gigante got huge games from Peyton Manning and SUPERBOWL MVP Maurice Jones-Drew. Drew ran for 131 yds and 2 TD's while also catching 6 passes for 31 yds. Gigante became the first Wildcard team to not only get to the Superbowl, but also win it. This was the AFC's first Superbowl title.
